A final thank you and goodbye to our outgoing Managing Director Karl Dean, who leaves us for pastures new today, Friday 27th January 2023.

Our Chair Cllr Nyla Ibrahim put it very well...

"Thanks for everything, Karl. Yours are big shoes to fill after seven years of fantastic leadership. We are very grateful for all you have done and want to wish you all the very best in your new role." 

Karl was recently part of his final Board of Management meeting, paying tribute to colleagues, stakeholders and the people we support in the process.

And colleagues gathered for a farewell lunch at our HQ in Failsworth to wish Karl well.

A few words from him as he departs...

"Today is my last day at MioCare and I wanted to take the opportunity to say goodbye, thank you and good luck to everyone who is, and has been involved with the Group. I have loved my time here and feel very privileged to have been trusted to lead and be part of this amazing organisation.

Keep supporting each other to get the most of of life, share your stories and celebrate your successes. Oldham and MioCare will always be a part of me and I will forever be a big supporter of the Group and the town to which is belongs. This last seven years has been such a brilliant chapter in my life and as you look forward, I’ll look back with great memories."
