We provide a number of respite, assessment and short stay options which range from an overnight stay up to an agreed period depending on assessed needs and individual requirements. Our services deliver planned and emergency short term stays and our schemes are fully equipped, with qualified and supportive staff on hand to provide a safe and comfortable environment with a homely feel.
Under one roof Medlock Court offers three services, residential reablement, physical assessment and short stay. Medlock Court cares for people who can be discharged from hospital but aren’t yet ready to go home and can assist people to regain the skills needed to live as independently as possible and increase confidence in their own abilities. Equally Medlock Court can provide a period of intensive assessment and rehabilitation to prevent hospital admissions.
Willow House provides rotational respite for people with a learning disability. People are encouraged to bring along personal items to make them feel more at home and we will make every effort to accommodate a person’s wishes and respect their cultural and diverse needs. Our Shared Lives service also provides respite for people who may be better suited to this environment.
I’ve loved being here, meeting some wonderful people and making new friends. I’ve felt so comfortable.
