  •   Business Support Officer

    Hours:
    20 per week

    Grade 2 £18,426 - £19,171 pro-rata

    Job Purpose:
    To provide high quality business support services and administrative support to the Learning Disability Team and central services. You will represent the organisation with professionalism, efficiency and initiative to ensure the effective delivery of services to officers, service users and visitors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide effective and efficient administrative support to services within the MioCare Group, working within specified timescales, managing priorities and workload to meet demand. 
    • Maintain a professional environment with high quality customer service both face to face and on the telephone; leading on and supporting the answering of queries with a positive and solutions-focused approach.
    • Work with the wider staff team and managers to ensure compliance with internal and external recording and monitoring of information and data; ensuring information is made available in line with specified time scales and schedules.
    • To ensure the safety and security of information, data and documentation in line with confidentiality, information governance and general data protection regulations.

  •   Care Workers - Extra Care Housing

    Hours: 
    20 hours per week

    Salary: 
    £8.35 per hour

    Job Purpose:
    Care Workers are employed to work with clients to provide care and support as detailed specifically in the service user plan provided for each client. All clients are individuals who will have received a person-centred holistic assessment of their needs which forms the basis of their service user  plan. The role of the home care worker is to meet their clients’ needs and to ensure they are supported as detailed in their service user plan ensuring at all times that their privacy, dignity and independence are maintained. This will include not only assisting with the client’s personal care needs but also their social welfare. The role may include prompting or administering medication, shopping, cooking and will include light housekeeping duties. Care workers must work as directed by the Manager and detailed in the individual service user plan

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. To ensure that all duties directed by the Registered Manager and detailed in the service user  Plan are carried out in full, providing high quality personal care to the client.
    2. To inform the Manager immediately in regards to any emergency situations, or if the client experiences a noticeable change in their behaviour or care needs.
    3. Proactively support GP’s, nurses, physiotherapists and any other professionals involved in the care and wellbeing of the client.

  •   Operations Manager

    Job Purpose:
    The MioCare Group is a growing organisation and we are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to provide the leadership for a new flagship supported living scheme for people with a learning disability developed in partnership with Oldham Council. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great forward-looking organisation consistently rated as Good by CQC.  The new provision has 20 self-contained apartments and communal facilities providing an environment which will enable people to thrive and live as independently as possible.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To carry out the role of Operations Manager you will need a good understanding of the CQC regulatory framework to ensure the service is compliant and experience of working with vulnerable client groups.
    • You will be responsible for the onsite delivery of care and facilities management of the building.   
    • You will provide leadership to the onsite team ensuring that staff work in a person-centred way and in partnership with service users, their families and carers ensuring their voice is heard, making a positive difference for the people we support.
    • To ensure the service delivers high quality care, achieves the aspirations of service users and delivers the outcomes required by all stakeholders.
