  •   Community Support Worker (Supported Living)

    Hours:
    Various - 20, 25, 30, 35 hours per week positions available

    Salary:
    From 19,171 per year (pro-rata) - based on experience

    Job Purpose:
    We are looking for enthusiastic and skilful individuals with bags of energy to join our successful and growing Supported Living Service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To provide support to people with toileting, washing, dressing, eating, personal hygiene, mobility according to their need.
    • To be supported to / administer medication as directed by GP or consultant, to ensure safe storage and keep accurate records in line with the medication policy and in accordance with agreed care plans, and liaise with the appropriate medical professionals as necessary.
    • To assist and encourage individual development with regard to domestic and social and recreational skills. In order to achieve set goals and to have involvement in the Person Centred Planning. To maintain records of patterns of care and observations.
    • To work a range of shifts on a 24/7 basis including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays as required in accordance with service user needs and to undertake these as required.
    • To play an active role in maintaining and promoting the scheme, acting as an ambassador and role model at every opportunity.

    • To have a knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults including those with a learning disability, autism, mental health and acquired brain injury.
    • To support and enable / re-enable service users who may require assistance with personal care and physical tasks such as administering medication.
    • To ensure the care, health and wellbeing of each individual is provided, whilst reporting and recording concerns to relevant people and liaising with colleagues, medical professionals and any other appropriate body.
    • To maintain appropriate records and pass on any relevant information about the needs of the service user to your manager or other designated persons and ensure compliance with the Data and Freedom of Information Act.

  •   Senior Care Worker (Extra Care Housing)

    Job Purpose:
    This is an exciting opportunity to join our Extra Care Service to take a lead role in providing a range of personal, social, emotional and practical care tasks for the wellbeing of service users. You will share our values and have a passion for providing the highest quality care, enabling service users to exercise control by maximising their independence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To ensure that all duties directed by the Registered Manager and detailed in the service user plan and risk assessments are carried out in full, providing high quality personal care to the client. 
    • To work supportively and pro-actively alongside GP’s, nurses, physiotherapists and any other professionals involved in the care and wellbeing of the client.
    • Maintain awareness of the role in providing assistance, guidance and support to service users, allowing them to remain as independent as possible.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and a respect for the rights of service users to privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
    • To support the management team in the effective and efficient running of the service and its development.
    • To update and review care plans regularly and to participate in the completion of risk assessments and care plans to ensure the needs of service users are met.

  •   Care Worker (Extra Care Housing)

    Job Purpose:
    Care Workers are employed to work with clients to provide care and support as detailed specifically in the service user plan provided for each client. All clients are individuals who will have a person-centred, holistic assessment of their needs which forms the basis of their service user plan. The role of the home care worker is to meet their clients’ needs and to ensure they are supported as detailed in their service user plan ensuring at all times that their privacy, dignity and independence are maintained. This will include not only assisting with the client’s personal care needs but also their social welfare. The role may include prompting or administering medication, shopping, cooking and will include light housekeeping duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To ensure that all duties directed by the Registered Manager and detailed in the service user plan and risk assessments are carried out in full, providing high quality personal care to the client.
    • To inform the Manager immediately of any emergency situations, or if the client experiences a noticeable change in their behaviour or care needs.
    • To work supportively and pro-actively alongside GP’s, nurses, physiotherapists and any other professionals involved in the care and wellbeing of the client.

  •   Finance and Payroll Assistant

    37 hours per week

    Job Purpose:
    To provide high quality finance and payroll support services to MioCare Group staff. You will represent the organisation with professionalism, efficiency and initiative to ensure the effective delivery of services to officers and service users.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To assist the Finance Manager and Finance Team Leader in liaising with budget holders and other staff on financial matters
    • Contribute to the efficient use of finances ensuring that expenditure is in line with budget management policies and agreed budgets
    • Oversee the input of employee information to payroll to ensure that accurate employee records are maintained
    • To assist in ensuring the correct monthly salary payments are made to staff by ensuring accuracy of inputs
    • Liaise with the payroll provider to ensure all queries are efficiently resolved
    • Work with the Finance Team Leader to produce management and employee reports from the payroll and HR system
    • Carry out monthly finance and payroll reconciliations as required to verify accuracy of records
