Our Managing Director, Rob Jackson, leaves MioCare this week (w/c 11 August 2025) after just over four years with the Group.
Rob began his time at MioCare in July 2021, joining as the Director of Care. He became Interim Managing Director in January 2023 before being appointed as the permanent MD shortly after that.
Rob leaves to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer at Borough Care.
A few words from Rob as he departs…
"This week, I've said goodbye to some of the very best people: colleagues, people we support, Board members, etc. I’ve had a truly fantastic four years in Oldham – keenly felt, the odd low, but many, many more highs and without doubt, there's never been a dull day! Thank you to everyone at the mighty MioCare, Oldham Council and other partners, and I wish you all the very best for the future."
And some words too from Interim Chair of the MioCare Group Board, Cathy Butterworth, in terms of future plans and the appointment of an Interim Managing Director…
"Thanks for everything, Rob. Right from the moment you arrived you were driven and focused on delivering great outcomes, none more so than for the people we support and MioCare’s workforce. We’re so grateful for your hard work over the past four years, and we wish you well in your next steps."
Cathy added...
"As we continue our work and look to the future, I’m delighted to announce that we’ve appointed Adrian McCourt as our Interim Managing Director. Adrian is a healthcare leader with over 20 years’ experience across public and private sectors. The Board of Management are confident that Adrian will continue and build upon the great work that has taken place under Rob’s leadership, giving us essential continuity before we begin the process of appointing a new permanent MD next year."
From everyone at the MioCare Group, thank you Rob.
