Adrian joined MioCare in August 2025 as the Group’s Interim Managing Director, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in health and care, having led several large teams and organisations.

Paula is passionate about social care, especially older people’s services. Her career in health and social care has spanned over 20 years, starting in commissioning for a local authority and then working in quality management for the NHS. She went on to work for Community Integrated Care (a not-for-profit provider) as Director of Older People and then as Head of Quality for the charity, Making Space. Paula is currently a Trustee for Healthy Living, a community charity in Blackburn, and is a board member of the Liverpool University Ethics Committee.

Paula first joined MioCare in 2023 as a Service Director for Older People’s Services, before becoming the Group’s Director of Care in 2025. She believes that her role as Director of Care at MioCare is about helping people have the best possible day they can - that includes both staff teams and the people we support.

Diane has worked for Oldham Council and then the MioCare Group for the past 35 years. Her social care journey started in mental health services resettling people from long-stay hospitals during their closure in the late eighties and early nineties.

Diane started her career as a support worker before taking on various management positions, which have led to her current role as Service Director for MioCare’s Learning Disability, Mental Health, and Managed Services. She is passionate and advocates for the rights of people we serve. Her continued main focus is to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Val joined MioCare in 2015 as the Associate Director for Quality, Performance and Compliance having previously worked for Oldham Council for ten years. During that time, Val worked across a number of both children’s and adult social care transformation programmes and was part of the team developing the model for the transfer of services that would later become the MioCare Group.

Prior to joining the Council, she had a varied career in both the public and private sectors, working in customer management outsourcing and complex transformational system development and change programmes in a number of roles and sectors.

Val has a particular interest in workforce development and culture change and in developing high-quality systems and processes to support the organisation to achieve its mission of supporting people to get the most out of life.

Owen joined the MioCare Group in April 2023, bringing vast experience of working in finance and the not-for-profit sector.

As MioCare’s Head of Finance, Owen's main responsibility is to manage the Group’s accounts and ensure that the right funds are sent to the right places. He’s passionate about ensuring the organisation is in the best financial position to provide an outstanding service to the people it supports and its workforce.

Outside of work, Owen likes to keep fit by cycling, playing football and running with friends. He also enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with his wife and their young son.

Claire began her role as Interim Head of Older People’s Services in July 2025, and retains her Medlock Court CQC registration (which she’s held since 2022). As well as bringing her experience as a Registered Manager to this interim role, Claire has previously worked across various MioCare and Oldham Council services during her 18 year career in social care.
