MioCare Group staff want to say a huge thanks to wonderful women of the Dovestone W.I. who have been incredibly busy during lockdown!
We received a large donation of face coverings from this brilliant community group, that will help our employees keep themselves and others safe.
Our frontline care workers are now well-used to the stringent IPC (infection, prevention and control) measures in place throughout care settings across our services, including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) when delivering personal care.
But there is of course a need for us all to be safe in non-care settings too including in offices, on essential public transport journeys, in shops, etc.
So, this generous gift was welcome! Thank you Dovestone W.I.
See photos below of Lydia, Alison and June sporting their coverings...
And don't forget to watch (and share!) our latest video featuring Rosemary, Dilip, Karl and others...
They were inspired to create the video above by Dr John Patterson (Oldham NHS CCG Chief Clinical Officer), who recently shared some simple but important steps that will help keep everyone in Oldham safe...
- Cover our faces
- Maintain a social distance
- Wash hands regularly
- Do not mix households
- Have symptoms? Get tested!
Let's look after each other!
