If you’re an avid reader of the Oldham Chronicle you may have recently come across a story featuring Lesley Smithson...

Lesley, who has Down’s Syndrome, works front of house as a Customer Care Assistant at her local McDonald’s and has been praised for her punctuality and customer service skills.

Skills she’s honed over the last 20 years of outstanding service to the restaurant. Her efforts certainly haven’t gone unnoticed by the local community (judging by the comments and 'Likes' over on Facebook!) or thankfully her employer.

Read the article in the Chron’ to see what her boss Darren has to say:

Alongside her carer Anne, Lesley is part of our Shared Lives scheme. We know Anne is incredibly proud of her, much like the Shared Lives staff team and everyone here at the MioCare Group.

Well done Lesley!
