Each year in June, the Alzheimer’s Society mobilises people to support their great cause through an annual #CupcakeDay. It’s been really successful and is a brilliant way to raise funds for their important work.

We had a number of staff members and service users who took it upon themselves to organise a #CupcakeDay at their location. There were events happening at MILES@Ena (our Day Support Service for Adults with a Learning Disability), Charles Morris House (an Extra Care Housing scheme at which we provide the care) and at Whitney Court (home of our Enablement Service) where Suzanne had not only baked but had organised a raffle too.

Colleagues went away with big smiles having been able to contribute and get some delicious cakes in return – or in Kirsten and Liz’s case, some bubbly too. Congratulations on your raffle win ladies!

Over £440 was raised across our services for the Alzheimer’s Society. A tremendous effort that shows what our community is all about.

Well done to everyone that organised, baked and bought!
