Some more fantastic news from our Supported Living Service – which has again been officially accredited by the National Autistic Society. This follows on from their recent ‘Good’ in all areas CQC report.
Accredited status is awarded to provisions where staff have a good working knowledge of methods and approaches which produce positive outcomes for autistic people. We’re absolutely delighted that following a detailed assessment, our Supported Living Service was deemed to be one of those provisions.
The assessment report described staff as “skilled in providing support that fosters personal independence and self-reliance” and that a “significant impact is made on the quality of the lives of autistic people by them being enabled to take part in a range of activities of interest and choice, including those that expand their social inclusion in the local community.”
Being that our mission statement is “supporting people to get the most out of life”, we are pleased and proud to hear that feedback and will continually strive to improve our practices.
