What does MioCare do?


The MioCare Group delivers whole person centred care and support to over 5000 people who have a variety of needs and aspirations. We enable people to live the life they want to by accessing services how, when and where it suits them. We provide a wide ranging portfolio of services for people who:

• are older and frail
• have a learning disability
• have mental health support needs
• have a physical or sensory disability
• have a long term health condition

MioCare Living offers a range of accommodation options with care and support provided, including Supported Living, Shared Lives and Extra Care.

MioCare Independence focuses on services that come to you including Home Care and Community Reablement which provide services to you in your own home and Personal Assistants and Day Support Carers providing services where you want them.

MioCare Safety is about keeping people safe and giving them peace of mind that we are there when they need us. On behalf of Oldham Council we deliver Helpline and Response, Assistive Technology, Community Equipment, Equipment and Adaptations and the Blue Badge service.

MioCare Short Stay provides a number of respite, assessment and short stay options including Medlock Court and Hunt Lane Respite Service.

MioCare Active delivers meaningful day care activities which are provided through our Well Being Sites, Laurel Bank Day Care centre and MILES@Ena service.
